Can't believe that it's been 6 months since I last posted on this blog. Spring is now upon us, so glad to say Goodbye to the winter weather!! Haven't had a lot of crochet or knit time lately. Too busy with school and work to sneak much else in! I really must find some time to get some baby stuff done for my nephew and his wife and for my newest grandchild due in September.....just to pack a few more hours into each day!crochetaddicthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06282327169207528628noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2976839830903758787.post-65012718688448079372014-09-23T22:12:00.001-07:002014-09-23T22:12:44.374-07:00Once again, it's been a very long time since I posted anything on this blog! Life just seems to keep getting in the way! My momma went home to be with Jesus Sept. 16, 2014 @ 12:47pm. We buried her on Sept 19, and it all still seems like a really bad dream that I can't wake up from. They say it will get easier in time, we shall see. I am hurting so right now and hopefully that hurt will ease in time too. Haven't had much time to do any crochet or knitting. School is in full swing and I am taking a full 12 credit hours this semester. What was I thinking??? :) That I just want to get school done and over with, that's what I'm thinking!!! Fall is here, and soon it will be winter........not looking forward to snow, cold and ice just yet!crochetaddicthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06282327169207528628noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2976839830903758787.post-68648500679033458742014-02-22T09:03:00.001-08:002014-02-22T09:03:22.057-08:00

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">Here's a picture of the fingerless gloves I finished a couple of days ago! My first time knitting something like this. I really like the way that they turned out for my first attempt at them. These are going to a friend in a craft group for a fingerless glove swap. Sure hope she likes them as much as I do!
Getting things around to head out on a road trip with the hubby early evening. Heading to Alabama to start with, then don't know where we will head from there. Looking forward to this "vacation" on the road with just hubby (even though he is working, OTR trucker that he is). Hoping to see some beautiful sights over the next 5 to 6 weeks! Thank God for my older children and their grandpa who are taking on the responsibility of our 14 yr old and 16 yr old while I go on the road!!

Hope everyone is having a great summer (even though it is so DRY). Will try to post pics of some of the beautiful things I get to see!!
crochetaddicthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06282327169207528628noreply@blogger.com0
