Hard to believe it's April already. Easter Sunday was spent quietly at home with the family. Missing my momma today. Going on 7 months since she passed away, and it's still hard to believe that she's really gone....

Great news this last week, I got my acceptance letter into the Advanced Placement RN program at KCC! I take my transition class this summer and start my nursing program in the fall. I am so excited and can't wait for this journey to come to a close. I have been working so hard on this for the last almost 4 years! Feeling truly blessed in my life right now!

Working on a baby afghan for my nephew and his wife, they are expecting in August, have another in the works for my youngest daughter who is expecting the end of September. So blessed to have time to work on these things right now!
